CRICKET TALENT HUNT – Nurturing Future Champions

The Cricket Talent Hunt is an eagerly awaited annual event, held during the months of May and June, spanning four weeks of excitement, competition, and discovery. It has become one of the most popular grassroots cricket initiatives, drawing over 100–120 enthusiastic children from diverse backgrounds who dream of making their mark in the sport.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
• Initial Trials & Shortlisting
The journey begins with open trials where every child gets a chance to showcase their skills. From this pool, around 80 promising players are shortlisted based on talent, discipline, and potential.
• Formation of Teams & Tournament
These shortlisted players are then divided into 8 balanced teams, ensuring fair competition. The teams compete in a structured tournament format, with matches that are live-streamed on YouTube, allowing families, friends, and cricket lovers to cheer for the budding stars.
• Selection of Top Performers
At the end of the tournament, 15 standout children are chosen for the next stage. Their performance, teamwork, and consistency are carefully evaluated by selectors and coaches.
• Professional Training Week
These 15 children undergo intensive training under Ranji Trophy players and seasoned professional coaches at a reputed cricket academy. This week-long camp focuses on refining technical skills, fitness, strategy, and mental toughness.
• Year-long Sponsorship for Finalists
From this group, the top 2 children are selected for a year-long professional training program. All expenses—including coaching, equipment, nutrition, and academy fees—are fully sponsored, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder their growth.
