Rashi’s association with Guldasta began when she was just 4 or 5 years old. With no access to formal schooling and coming from a family of five siblings with no educational background, Guldasta became her only source of learning, growth, and hope.

She was later enrolled in the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), through which she successfully passed her 10th standard exams—a milestone that marked not just academic achievement, but personal transformation.

Rashi’s success became a beacon of possibility within her family. As the first to complete her schooling, she inspired her siblings—especially her sister Shalu, who has now begun her own educational journey, motivated by Rashi’s determination and resilience.

At Guldasta, Mehek flourished under the guidance of dedicated teachers and the inspirational leadership of Mrs. Vimla Kaul, founder of VSSA. The nurturing atmosphere helped her sharpen her skills, build confidence, and set ambitious goals for her future.

After completing her learning support at Guldasta, Mehek pursued a teaching course at SCERT, R.K. Puram. Her passion for education and commitment to growth led her to continue her academic journey—and today, she is pursuing her PhD.
